Know your village! Local history
The lecterns outline a village trail and are situated near public footpaths and bridleways, and also feature a QR code that links to the village’s local history website - this website is a superb resource with a wealth of information.
Parish Council Chair Mrs Noushin Rostami said, “This project has been several years in the making, and over the past two years we have seen just how much being out in the countryside can mean to people’s health and wellbeing. It has been a real community undertaking and the Parish Council is extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed to it. It seems especially fitting that we have completed this during Platinum Jubilee year.”
