LITTLE GRANSDEN PARISH COUNCIL -- VACANCY FOR PARISH COUNCILLOR
If you would like to join the Parish Council, please write to the Clerk. You should include some background information about yourself, highlighting your strengths, together with a summary of what skills you can bring to the Parish Council and why you wish to be considered.

Applications should be directed to the Clerk to the Parish Council, Sylvia Sullivan, 3 Primrose Hill. Start date for applications will be Thursday 1 August 2013 for a 3- week period up to and including Friday 23 August 2013.

Qualification Criteria Councillors should be:
•    18 years of age or over
•    A British, Commonwealth, or Irish Citizen, or a citizen of another Member State of the European Union.
AND at least one of the following:

o    You must be registered as a voter in the relevant Parish in which you wish to seek election, OR
o    For the whole of the 12 months prior to election day are Owner or Tenant of any land  or premises in the relevant Parish, OR
o    Your principal or only place of work during those 12 months or more has been in the relevant Parish, OR
o    You have lived in the Parish or within 4.8 kilometres (3 miles) during the whole of the preceding 12 months.

More public consultation will take place from 19 July to 30 September. You can have your say and view the exhibitions across the district – the nearest ones will be on 30 July at Cambourne Hub and 4 September at Gamlingay Eco Hub.
