The club has been a regular user of Little Gransden Village Hall since the club started in 1992. We hold social evenings in January and summer so that we can involve our non-playing partners in relaxed social occasions.
We have a membership of just over 20 players. We play friendly matches, at home and away, against teams from Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire. When we entertain visiting teams we can have up to 40 people in the hall, and we then make use of the kitchen facilities and the Committee room for light refreshments.
There are 3 sets of carpet bowls equipment, so up to 36 people can play at one time.
We are a friendly club who are always keen to attract new members. Although many of our current members are retired people, we would welcome younger members from teenage and above! Carpet Bowls is a game of gentle exercise, team involvement, judgement and skill, in very sociable company.
