Mobile library returns

The good news is that the mobile library is returning to visit Little Gransden starting Friday 2nd October 2020. We have had the mobile vehicle risk assessed and service can now resume, but with restrictions to access and precautions in place. Sadly there will no browsing the books allowed as in all libraries at the moment.

So you can either use the Select and collect service via the Cambridgeshire libraries website which would be a chosen random selection of titles, or access the library catalogue and placing an order for specific titles which I can bring on a future visit, if they are available.  All books returning will be put into 3 days' quarantine before they are taken off your library records.

The library service may have sent you the following via an email with all the relevant links to the website.

We will be returning to our regular stops, but unfortunately access to the vehicle is limited to help keep staff safe and we will be providing books selected in advance.

Customers can pre-order books to collect from our usual reservation service currently FREE of charge, or the New Select and Collect service which allows you to request a collection of books based on your tastes or by calling 0345 045 5225

Simply choose the mobile library as a pick up point and order as far in advance as possible to ensure a selection is ready and issued for you to pick up from your stop (ideally a week in advance, but we will do our best with forms received after this).
